It is host to all manner of Big Cats, Mammals big and small, Lemurs, Primates, a whole host of bird most of which roam free throughout the land mass and beyond (quite a sight driving along the A590 with flying Parrots).

Day Tickets are £15 for Adults, £9 for Children and £11 for Seniors.

Getting to the Zoo from outside the immediate area will require you to follow the brown Elephant signs and once you are with the Dalton-in-Furness area you will need to come off the A590 (from Ulverston) and turn left at a large roundabout and then turn right in the town of Dalton onto Broughton Road where the Zoo is located on the righthand side just as you travel over the bridge.
